Do You Need to Reduce Stress? Try Mind-Body Music!

Don’t we all? And no, this isn’t an ad for a magic pill! We’re offering you stress reduction through the power of music! Instructor Nick Suchecki is getting ready for the next session of Mind-Body Music: Mitigate Stress with Music, which begins on Thursday, August 4 and runs until August 25.

During the class, you’ll learn how to combat stress by eliciting the relaxation response with your favorite music and incorporate mind-body techniques derived from mindfulness, meditation, and yoga practices in your daily life. Students will learn to play the kalimba, an African musical instrument with a wooden soundboard and metal keys, and receive one to use at home.

We have three ways for you to participate:
• Online from 10:00 to 11:30 AM
• At the Cape Symphony Barnstable Campus from 2:00 to 3:30 PM
• At the Cape Symphony Falmouth Campus from 6:00 to 7:30 PM
