Cape Symphony Orchestra Presents Disney and Pixar's "Ratatouille" In Concert

WEST BARNSTABLE, MA—June 30, 2025

Concert Features Composer Michael Giacchino’s Complete Score Performed Live to Picture, conducted by Thiago Tiberio on July 26 & 27

The Cape Symphony Orchestra will present Disney and Pixar’s “Ratatouille,” featuring a screening of the complete film with Oscar® and Grammy®-winning composer Michael Giacchino’s musical score performed live to the film. Thiago Tiberio, a specialist in live-to-picture synchronization, will return to the Cape Symphony stage to conduct the performances.

“Ratatouille” re-teams Giacchino (“Jojo Rabbit,” “Incredibles 2,” “Inside Out”) with Academy Award®-winning director Brad Bird (“The Incredibles,” “Incredibles 2”) as they take you into an entirely new and original world where the unthinkable combination of a rat and a 5-star gourmet restaurant come together for the ultimate fish-out-of-water tale.

In the Oscar®-winning film, a rat named Remy dreams of becoming a great chef, despite his family's wishes and the obvious problem of being a rat in a decidedly rodent-phobic profession. When fate places Remy in the sewers of Paris, he finds himself ideally situated beneath a restaurant made famous by his culinary hero, Auguste Gusteau. Remy's passion for cooking soon sets into motion a hilarious and exciting rat race that turns the world of Paris upside down.

Disney and Pixar’s “Ratatouille” In Concert is presented by the Cape Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Thiago Tiberio at the Barnstable Performing Arts Center, 744 West Main Street, Hyannis, at 7:30 PM Saturday, July 26 and 3:00 PM Sunday, July 27, 2025.
