Acro & Conditioning
This class strengthens dancers’ agility, flexibility, and control through basic acrobatics, targeted stretching, and conditioning. It builds core stability, balance, and coordination to enhance technique and performance. Ages 7+.
Adult Core Ballet
An adult ballet class for beginners and continuing dancers, focusing on classical technique, alignment, and musicality. Sessions include barre work and select center exercises to build strength, grace, and confidence.
Adult Tap
Step into the rhythm with our lively adult tap class, designed for those with some experience looking to refine their skills! Enjoy an energizing warm-up, across-the-floor progressions, and dynamic combinations while exploring a variety of rhythms and musicality. Expand your tap vocabulary and master single, double, and triple sounds in a fun and engaging atmosphere!
Ballet 1/2
Grace, strength, and artistry come together in this Vaganova-based ballet class! Dancers will refine their posture, placement, and poise through dynamic barre exercises, fluid across-the-floor progressions, and expressive center combinations. With a focus on ballet vocabulary and precise execution, this class will elevate technique while building confidence and grace.
Ballet Buddies
Jump, twist, hop, clap, bounce, and twirl—let the fun begin! This lively class helps children develop fine and gross motor skills while learning to engage in a classroom setting and connect music with movement. Young dancers will explore basic ballet terminology, practice foundational steps, and enjoy creative opportunities to express themselves. With each class, they’ll build confidence, coordination, and a love for dance, leaving inspired and excited for more!
Company Ballet
This course is for dancers with a solid understanding of ballet class structure and core positions. This class focuses on proper placement and technique, tailored to each dancer’s individual physicality. Students will expand their ballet vocabulary, improve spatial awareness, and refine the quality of their movement. Emphasis is placed on musicality, phrasing, and dynamics, helping dancers develop strength, flexibility, and mental focus. Ballet technique nurtures posture, coordination, grace, and poise—foundational skills that serve dancers throughout their lives and across many dance styles.

Jazz Workshop
This summer, the Cape Symphony Jazz Workshop partners with Jazz Arts Collective to offer middle and high school students a unique, immersive jazz experience. Together, we’re creating an inclusive, inspiring workshop in Falmouth, blending performance and education to nurture the next generation of jazz musicians.
Kids Summer Arts Program
From July 7 – August 14, our 6-week Summer Art Program offers a fun, arts-enriched experience for children ages 3-7, blending indoor and outdoor activities in a nurturing environment. Young artists will explore painting, mixed media sculpting, storytelling, creative movement, and music-making, fostering creativity, imagination, and fine motor skills. Flexible scheduling options include M/W, Tu/Th, or M/Tu/W/Th, with classes running 9 AM – 3 PM.
Music Explorers
A fun, interactive class for young children that introduces music basics through ear training, singing, rhythm games, and improvisation. Kids develop skills like beat-keeping, focus, and concentration, while exploring the piano with age-appropriate songs, finger numbers, left/right hand coordination, and basic rhythms. This class sparks creativity and builds a strong foundation for future piano lessons!
Music Together
A Parent-Child Music Together® class is a fun, relaxed community experience where families engage in songs, instrument play, rhythm chants, and movement. Parents and caregivers help enrich their child’s musical environment, regardless of musical ability. Each semester introduces a new song collection with a mix of original and traditional songs in different tonalities, meters, and cultural styles.
Piano Explorers 1 & 2
Piano Explorers introduces keyboard skills and musicianship through simple melodies, sight reading, music vocabulary, and ear training. Students participate in rhythm games, singing, composition, and ensemble playing, with sight reading focused on pre-staff notation. A piano or touch-sensitive keyboard with at least four octaves is required for home practice. Consistent, brief practice sessions, supported by the family, are essential for developing musical appreciation.
Pointe
Pointe work is the ultimate challenge for advanced ballet dancers, requiring a strong foundation in ballet. Students must also take Company Ballet and have their pointe shoes professionally fitted and approved by the instructor. Permission from the Dance Director is needed to register—feel free to inquire! Dancers will perform in the spring recital, though some may not perform in pointe shoes to ensure safety and skill readiness.
Pre-Ballet/Intro to Tap
Young dancers explore the joy of dance and music in this creative class, which encourages both exploration and taking direction. They learn ballet vocabulary, develop coordination, and practice specific steps, including basic stretching, balancing, and traveling across the floor. Tap dance introduces rhythm, counting, musicality, and basic tap terminology, providing a fun foundation for their dance journey.
