If an instructor is unable to attend a scheduled class or private lesson for any reason, they will offer a make-up session within the current semester whenever possible. If an instructor is unable to schedule a make-up session, Cape Symphony will issue a credit for future use, or a refund.
Weather or Emergency-Related Closings
Cape Symphony follows the Barnstable and Falmouth Public Schools’ closing policies.
The Barnstable campus will cancel lessons and classes when the Barnstable Public Schools cancel classes, have an early dismissal, or cancel after-school activities. We will have a late arrival if the Barnstable Public Schools have a late arrival.
The Falmouth campus will cancel lessons and classes when the Falmouth Public Schools cancel classes, have an early dismissal, or cancel after-school activities. We will have a late arrival if the Falmouth Public Schools have a late arrival.
In the event of a weather or emergency closing during the school day, Cape Symphony will make every effort to notify students by email and/or phone. Should Cape Symphony campuses close due to weather or other emergencies, we will schedule make-up classes and private lessons.
