Tap and Hip Hop Level 1/2

This class covers tap and hip hop. Dancers who are at a beginning and/or an intermediate level are encouraged to participate. In both genres, we will work on musicality including dynamics, rhythm and timing. There will be instruction in tap technique through work at the barre, progressions across the floor and center work. In hip hop we gain an understanding of foundations and learn choreography through center combinations.

Dress code: clean sneakers, sweatpants or leggings, T-Shirt, tank tap, or leotard. If performing, white sneakers may be required.
