ELEMENTARY BALLET COMBO

Young dancers continue to explore their growing love for music and movement in this class. Children gain coordination, learn about movement qualities and explore further how they can move. Dancers are challenged to understand how to work through their feet, stretch in correct posture and build strength in their muscles. They gain further knowledge of French ballet terminology and are introduced to the barre. Students enjoy learning about teamwork as well as class etiquette.

In addition to Ballet, students have the opportunity to learn an introduction to tap dance and very basic acrobatics in this combo class. It is up to the teacher’s discretion which technique will be included after Ballet studies.

Attire
Girls: Pink leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers.
Boys: White shirt, black stretch pants, black ballet slippers.
