Mirela's interest in teaching was kindled by the pedagogy classes she took as a student at New England Conservatory. She tailors her teaching approach to the needs of each individual and devotes a considerable level of attention to the youngest students, who receive from the very beginning the solid musicianship and technical foundations necessary to experience music to the fullest degree. Her teaching is directed towards building the fine skills, enthusiasm, and sense of accomplishment that will foster a love for playing the piano well into the future.
