Fred Johnson
Fred Johnson taught music in public schools for over 34 years, including Falmouth Public Schools for 26 years, where he taught music theater, piano class, music technology, music theory, and history. He was the conductor of what is now the Falmouth Chorale (previously Falmouth Interfaith Choir) for 17 years.
Fred completed his Music Education degree in Voice at the University of Iowa, has a Masters of Music in Voice from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and did postgraduate studies in Voice at The University of Illinois. Besides teaching voice and piano at the Cape Symphony, Fred teaches chorus and drama for Project Forward at Cape Cod Community College, and currently conducts choir for the Unitarian Universalist Church in Falmouth.
