Kate O’Donnell-Wing
Kate O’Donnell-Wing grew up in a military family living in a variety of locations including South Weymouth, Massachusetts, Jacksonville, North Carolina and Okinawa, Japan, before returning to the family’s native Cape Cod. Kate graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Kingston and attended Roger Williams University as a Dance Performance Major. Choosing to pursue an alternative path, she sought life experience exploring different avenues. It was becoming a mother of her three children where Kate found her true passion-educating children. She returned to college as a non-traditional student while raising her three young children. She completed her Associates Degree at Cape Cod Community College, graduating as a Commonwealth Honors Scholar in the spring of 2020.
As an involved parent, Kate has been very active as a volunteer in her children's classrooms and nurtured her goals to work in education. She enjoys the experience of childhood education and has a major interest in children’s literature. She plans to continue her studies in pursuit of a career in teaching.
