Cape Symphony Youth Chorus

Cape Symphony Youth Chorus is a non-auditioned vocal ensemble for students on the Cape in grades 4-6 who love to sing. Students come together in a supportive environment to develop vocal skills by learning and performing engaging repertoire. There is a strong emphasis on community building and fulfilling Cape Symphony’s mission to “Inspire joy!”. Weekly rehearsals include vocal warm-ups, movement activities, and lots of singing! Our spring session ends with a performance for family and friends on Tuesday May 30, 6-7 pm.

Cape Symphony Youth Chorus Director, Paige Taylor, is an exceptional teaching artist with 14 years of experience in music education. She was the Director for Cape Symphony’s 2012 Summer Sounds Chorus. She was the choral director at Falmouth High School from 2016-2022, and is currently on the voice faculty at South Shore Conservatory, where she has been teaching since 2017.

Rehearsals and performances are held at First Lutheran, 1663 Main Street Route 6A, West Barnstable. The cost for our spring session is $250. Tuition assistance is available and we welcome ALL students who want to sing regardless of ability to pay.
