Private instruction is the core of music education. Lessons are offered year-round for children and adults, from beginning through advanced levels in all major instruments and voice. Both campuses are set in tranquil, wooded areas and our staff and faculty provide a welcoming, nurturing atmosphere. An expert faculty with a wide range of diverse talents and personalities ensures the best-suited student/teacher match. Recitals are held at the end of each semester, with community performance opportunities offered throughout the year.
Private lessons are available at our Barnstable and Falmouth campuses, as well as online.

Lesson Schedule
Generally, private music lessons are offered Monday through Saturday at both campuses and online. The schedule varies for each teaching artist, so our registrars will work closely with you to determine a suitable day and time for your lessons.
We schedule lessons by the semester, though you may begin at any time during the year. We will pro-rate lessons that begin after the start of a semester.
Most lessons occur once per week for 30, 45, or 60 minutes. The teaching artist will help determine the length and frequency of your lesson. Most beginners start with 30-minute lessons and increase the time as their skills advance.
We recommend students first schedule one paid trial lesson by contacting our registrars at
