Arts-Infused, Academically Inspired.

At Cape Symphony Preschool, every day is an academic and artistic adventure. Children explore numbers, letters, books, science, nature, and the world around them through hands-on discovery and creative learning experiences. Music, dance, movement, and visual arts are woven into the fabric of each day, helping students build curiosity, confidence, and self-expression.

Our arts-enriched environment supports all types of learners by engaging children’s creativity, senses, and natural imagination. Through artistic exploration, students strengthen communication, collaboration, problem-solving, motor skills, and independence—all within a warm, nurturing community led by experienced educators and Cape Symphony teaching artists.

All Preschool sessions run from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

  • 2.9 to 5 years: Monday through Friday
  • 2.9 to 4 years: Tuesday/Thursday
  • 4 to 5 years: Monday/Wednesday/Friday

Arts Enrichment

Our afterschool enrichment program extends the preschool day with a thoughtful blend of creativity, play, and social-emotional learning. Students participate in engaging arts experiences such as visual art, hip hop, yoga, creative movement, and introductory music activities designed to inspire imagination and exploration.

The program also includes guided creative play, story time, outdoor activities, and opportunities to build confidence, cooperation, and friendships. Designed for the whole child, Arts Enrichment provides a calm, supportive environment where preschoolers can continue to learn, create, and connect beyond the classroom.

The Arts Enrichment program runs from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Extended Hours

Before Care

Before Care provides a structured, safe environment for children starting at 8:30 AM every school day.

Stay & Play

Stay & Play is our extended-day option that allows children to continue their preschool experience in a relaxed, nurturing environment after regular preschool hours. Students enjoy a balance of free play and lightly structured activities, including art activities, storytime, outdoor play, and social games, along with a healthy afternoon snack.

Designed to support working families, Stay & Play gives children additional opportunities to build creativity, confidence, independence, and social skills in a familiar and caring setting. Led by experienced educators, the program provides a safe, engaging atmosphere where children can unwind, explore, and connect with friends at their own pace.

Stay & Play hours are from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Cape Symphony Preschool Families Say...

“As a family, we have a special place in our hearts for Cape Symphony Preschool. This community of educators and staff welcomed us two years ago with open arms during a trying time in our world. From the Fall of 2021 to present day, with a graduating preschooler, everyone has exceeded our expectations. Kindness, compassion and empathy are practiced on a daily basis throughout the school. The teachers and staff greet with a smile and are available to answer questions. Our son has learned about patience and practice through his violin instruction. We have all learned about world renowned artists and methods of painting. Creativity is welcomed and encouraged. Thanks to Cape Symphony, we are confident that our preschooler is kindergarten ready. We look forward to the next step and have made friends here we will not forget.” –The Tyson Family

“Cape Symphony has easily been one of the best decisions my husband and I have made for our children. The school has absolutely exceeded all our expectations and hopes for a preschool. The teachers are not only caring and compassionate, but they have turned learning into a fun experience. This past year our children learned about letters, numbers, writing, butterflies, famous artists, and much more! Academics are an integral part of Cape Symphony, but music is also a focal point, learning about instruments, singing songs, and even playing the violin! There are not enough words to express how amazing the Cape Symphony Preschool family truly is!” –The MacQueen Family

"From the extra music enrichment and creative movement programs to learning her numbers and letters, our daughter always has a smile on her face at the end of the day! Her experience this past year in the preschool class has been exceptional! She adored her teacher and we have watched her musical curiosity and creativity grow by leaps and bounds!" –Helen and Steve Malinowski

"My youngest child is finishing up his very successful kindergarten year and I have to give much credit to the foundation that the Preschool helped my family build. We have also made many lasting friendships with the other families that we met over the years." –Cathy Castano

"The Preschool is exceptional with so much to offer, academically, artistically, musically and socially... (The teachers) are nurturing, top-notch with a touch of class! I couldn't be more happy with the education and growth of my daughter... As a musician myself, I believe that music and the arts are an important part of learning and individual growth..." –Susannah Corrigan
