At Forever Young in November 2022, the double piano in The Carnival of the Animals will be played by pianists Anna Glig and James Rosenblum, making their Cape Symphony debut.
Award-winning Ana holds a master’s degree in piano performance from Mannes School of Music, The New School, and an Advanced Certificate in piano performance and pedagogy from NYU Steinhardt. Originally from the Republic of Georgia, Ana has performed widely in the U.S. and Europe.
James, an attorney with a JD from Columbia Law, has studied piano since the age of six with teachers from the Juilliard School, the Manhattan School of Music, Yale University, and Bard College. At the time of Forever Young, he will have just taken part in the exclusive 2022 Cliburn International Amateur Piano Competition!
Performing together as the Glig/Rosenblum Piano Duo, these accomplished pianists have been residents of Cape Cod since 2017. Ana is the music director at First United Methodist Church in Chatham, and James is the interim music director at the Unitarian Church of Barnstable and in the summer, he's the pianist and organist at the Truro First Parish Church.
