Adam Spencer and Angel Fox join the Cape Symphony for The Roaring '20s in February 2023

Adam Spencer and Angel Fox

After appearing on the British television show “Strictly Dance Fever,” Adam Spencer was awarded a scholarship to attend the prestigious London Studio Center, where he gained his honors degree in Theater Dance.

After touring with the studio's jazz company in the UK and working for Disney's “High School Musical” in Europe, he continued to train in Latin and Ballroom dancing. Adam belonged to the Encore Latin formation team and placed first at Blackpool at Nationals; the team then went on to compete at the World Championships in Germany. Adam then assisted choreography for Dreamworks, dance captained for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and Carnival Cruise Lines, and then began training in the American styles of dance. This is where his passion lies.

Using the discipline of ballet, musicality of jazz, the depth of modern and the performance of musical theater, Adam assists students in learning the skill and art of ballroom dance at his Adam in Chatham studio.

Angel is a lifelong dancer who started training at the age of three and began competing in jazz and contemporary by the age of nine. She found her true passion in the discipline when she discovered ballroom dance at age 13. She continued dancing competitively while working toward her goal of turning professional. By 17, Angel was teaching and competing professionally, and went on to earn her certification in both the Fred Astaire syllabus and the Dvida syllabus while training with some of the most renowned names in the ballroom industry.

She has competed nationally and internationally, earning several first place titles including Commonwealth Theatre Arts Champion, multi-time Fred Astaire regional Theatre Arts Champion and National Rising Star Theatre Arts Champion. Angel was also one of 20 of the world's best dancers invited to compete at the prestigious Blackpool Dance Festival in 2019.
