The Cape Symphony office in Hyannis, which includes administration and the Box Office, managed by Amie Medeiros (pictured above), has moved to our Barnstable Campus on Iyannough Road, across from the Cape Cod Community College and next door to the YMCA of Cape Cod.

This is a move that has been long planned for several reasons, one of which is that it just makes sense for the majority of our staff to be in one place, a place that we own on our own land. Another reason is that we’re excited to be together. This will be great for our staff, and we look forward to delivering our performances, education, and community outreach and engagement from under the same roof.

We’ve got more reasons! We are forming a community of culture with the College and the Y, offering a plethora of education and recreational opportunities just off the Cape’s busiest highway exit. Plus, at this location, we’ll be easily accessible, whether you’re coming to bring your child to our preschool, taking a piano lesson yourself, or purchasing tickets to an upcoming concert.

We’re remodeling the front and the lobby of the Barnstable Campus building so that our Box Office needs will be served along with the other requirements of the building. We’ll continue to maintain our Falmouth Campus and hope to expand our offerings there. We’re talking to our neighbors about lots of collaborative ideas. Most of all, we’re excited to welcome you to our front door!

The office move is scheduled for the week of September 19. Box Office staff will be monitoring the phone and returning calls and emails during that week. The Box Office will open at 2235 Iyannough Road on Monday, September 26 at 9:00 AM.
