Our February CapePOPS! concert is a very special collaboration with Cotuit Center for the Arts. The Wizard of Oz in Concert is a performance of the film, with the full score and all the songs you know and love. This is your chance to be a part of it.
The director, Michele Colley, and choir director Katie Lynch Coglin will be holding auditions for the roles of Munchkins, Winkies, and Ozians. The performance will be staged in a concert format with emphasis on singing and minimal movement required. All who audition will be asked to sing a number chosen by the choir director. Be prepared to learn a piece of choreography. Please wear/bring appropriate shoes.
The auditions will be held July 21 at 9:00 AM, July 22 at 12:00 PM, and July 23 at 4:00 PM. Callbacks will be July 28 at 9:00 AM, July 29 at 12:00 PM, and July 30 at 4:00 PM.
The Wizard of Oz in Concert will be performed at the Barnstable Performing Arts Center on Saturday, February 9 at 3:00 PM and 7:30 PM and Sunday, February 10 at 3:00 PM.
