"A Sumptuous Feast"

At last weekend's "Unforgettable: John Pizzarelli Celebrates Nat King Cole," "Conductor Jung-Ho Pak’s eye, and ear, for detail that lifted Saturday night’s show into the realm of the truly special," according to the Cape Cod Times.

"A Sumptuous Feast," written by reviewer Mick Carlon, praised Jung-Ho for "preparing his shows with so much care, artistry and heart." He went on to say, "Joined by world-renowned jazz guitarist/singer John Pizzarelli and his quartet, the Cape Symphony transformed itself into a sometimes roaring, sometimes gorgeous, always swinging jazz orchestra."

Carlon, an English teacher and author of acclaimed jazz-themed young adult novels, observed, "I don’t care if you were listening to live jazz on Saturday in Manhattan, London, Paris, or Chicago. What you heard could not have been one ounce more magnificent than John Pizzarelli, his quartet, and the Cape Symphony on West Main Street in Hyannis."

Whether you loved this experience, or you missed it, we hope you come back and see more of the Cape Symphony! Our famous "Holiday on the Cape" is coming up soon. We also recommend "Broadway Rocks" to everyone who loves popular music and, especially, musicals!
