Learn and Play Music This Fall
We have multiple opportunities for adults and youth to learn and play music this fall, both online and in-person at our Barnstable and Falmouth campuses.
Cape Symphony Reschedules 2020-21 Season to 2021-22
We regret to announce that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our 2020-21 Cape Symphony season will be rescheduled to 2021-22, because the Barnstable Public School buildings, including the Barnstable Performing Arts Center, will not be available to outside organizations during the 2020-21 school year.

Announcing the Baton Hero Competition Winners
We’re happy to announce the winners of the Cape Symphony’s Baton Hero Competition, our amateur conducting contest. The entrants chose piece of classical or pops symphonic music in the public domain (written before 1924) and submitted a YouTube video. Jung-Ho Pak reviewed the videos and handed out these very special awards to the deserving winners.

The highlight of ENJOY! Episode 6 comes from the Cape Symphony’s January 2020 “Passport to Africa” concert. This very special piece is “Beyond Bars” by Bradley Williams, text by Nelson Mandela and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (Letter from Birmingham Jail), narrated by Dr. Johann Buis and Rev. Dr. Joan M. Martin.
