Cape Symphony Conservatory Announces Fall Semester Offerings

 Opportunities for students of all ages in West Barnstable, Falmouth, and Brewster

WEST BARNSTABLE, MA—August 26, 2026

Cape Symphony Conservatory announces fall semester classes, lessons, and ensembles for children, teenagers, and adults at its West Barnstable and Falmouth campuses and its Lower Cape Extension in Brewster. Most classes begin the week of September 14.

Classes for children include:

  • In Music Together®, children aged 6 months–5 years enjoy musical activities in a playful setting with their grown-ups.
  • Music Explorers is a fun introduction to rhythm, melody, and musicianship for ages 4–6.
  • In Guitar Explorers, aspiring strummers aged 6–9 learn simple chords and songs.
  • Percussion Explorers for ages 5–7 teaches rhythm patterns and dynamics with a variety of instruments.
  • Piano Explorers encompasses two levels of beginning piano instruction for ages 5–9.

For teenagers and adults:


Cape Symphony is proud to introduce Music Therapy Group for children of all abilities. Led by a board-certified therapist, this supportive group uses music to encourage communication, self-expression, social connection, and overall wellbeing.

New this fall, Cape Symphony Youth Chorus offers singers aged 12–20 an ensemble experience focused on vocal development, musicianship. collaboration, and confidence-building. Vocal placements for interested students will be held September 13 from 6:00–9:00 PM. All singers aged 12–20 are invited to participate in a free Choral Clinic on September 19 from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM. CSYC enrollment is not required, though vocal placements are available on that date as well. Vocal placements and the Choral Clinic will take place at 2235 Iyannough Road, West Barnstable. The acclaimed Cape Symphony Youth Orchestra Program offers four levels of ensembles for young musicians who play orchestral instruments. Auditions for new and returning students will be held September 12, 2026 at 2235 Iyannough Road, West Barnstable. Cape Symphony Conservatory also offers private music lessons in all major instruments and voice for children, teenagers, and adults from beginning through advanced levels. An expert faculty with a wide range of talents and personalities ensures an excellent student/teacher match. Recitals are held at each semester’s end.

Conservatory campuses are located at 2235 Iyannough Road, West Barnstable and 60 Highfield Drive, Falmouth, with a Lower Cape Extension in the Cape Cod Christian Academy building at 94 Freemans Way, Brewster.
