Cape Symphony presents Sinatra in August 2020

Cape Symphony Postpones June 13 & 14 performances of “Sinatra!”

Barnstable Performing Arts Center closed through June

HYANNIS, MA—April 30, 2020

With Governor Charlie Baker’s decision to close Massachusetts schools through the end of June, the Cape Symphony is unable to perform at the Barnstable Performing Arts Center. As a result, the Cape Symphony has decided to postpone the Sinatra! concert originally planned for June 13 and 14, 2020. The concert has been rescheduled for August 22 and 23, 2020.

“Although we’re all unsure of what the future holds, we’re optimistically rescheduling Sinatra! to August,” said Cape Symphony & Conservatory Executive Director Michael Albaugh. “If we’re able to present this concert as we hope we will, we’ll take every possible measure to ensure the safety of our customers, musicians and staff. Of course, we’re monitoring this constantly evolving situation.”

As originally planned, renowned Sinatra performer Brian Duprey will join Artistic Director & Conductor Jung-Ho Pak and the Cape Symphony to present the greatest hits of Ol’ Blue Eyes, including “Fly Me to the Moon,” “Luck Be a Lady,” and “The Way You Look Tonight.”

Ticket holders don’t need to do anything at this time. New tickets will be sent when the Cape Symphony office reopens.

“If anyone with existing tickets is unable to attend on the new date, we will happily provide a credit towards a future concert, or ticket holders can choose to donate the value of their ticket to us to help maintain operations during this difficult time,” said Albaugh. “We look forward to performing for the Cape Cod community again.”
