Collaboration brings world-class artists to perform at Dennis Port resort
Cape Symphony Presents is thrilled to announce its collaboration with Pelham House Resort and WOMR to bring a lineup of world-class artists to perform at Pelham House Resort in Dennis Port on Saturday evenings this winter.
Pelham House Resort is one of the most distinctive oceanfront hotels on Cape Cod. WOMR (OuterMost community Radio, 92.1 & 91.3 FM) is a non-profit, non-commercial radio station providing a community platform for local, eclectic, entertaining, informative, and educational programming.
“We’re excited to work with Pelham House Resort and WOMR to showcase outstanding artists on Cape Cod that audiences might not otherwise experience live,” said Richard Chwastiak, who manages the Cape Symphony Presents program for Cape Symphony. “Pelham House Resort is an elegant, intimate venue, perfectly suited to live music on a winter’s night. Come check it out! Tune in to WOMR for artist interviews as each show comes up.”
Shows will be from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM every Saturday night from January 18 through March 1, 2025, at Pelham House Resort, 14 Sea Street, Dennis Port, MA.
Here is the lineup:
- January 18, we’ll open our series with exceptionally talented jazz vocalist Mozelle Andrulot, known for her evocative performances and timeless style.
- January 25, experience the global inspiration of jazz, Latin, and world music duo Eleanor & Dario. Their fusion of genres and heartfelt performance dynamic is both lighthearted and deeply moving.
- February 1 brings the artistry of renowned djembefola Sidy Maiga, whose music reflects the rich tradition of West African drumming and storytelling and a passion for connecting audiences through the universal language of rhythm.
- February 8, enjoy a one-of-a-kind evening of music transcending genres as the Beacon Street Quartet combines classical and pop influences, offering a fresh take on timeless music.
- February 15, take in the soulful sounds and smooth melodies of Brooklyn-based, internationally touring jazz vocalist and pianist Robbie Pate.
- February 22 brings an engaging performance by award-winning guitarist, singer, and composer Albino Mbie, whose distinctive, vibrant sound blends Mozambiquan traditions with global influences.
- March 1, our series concludes with the heartfelt Americana of singer-songwriter Monica Rizzio. With roots in Texas and a career grown in New England, Monica merges storytelling and melody to create songs that resonate deeply with audiences.
