FALMOUTH, MA—August 6, 2024
Event at Highfield Hall will support access to Cape Symphony programs
Cape Symphony will host “A September Serenade” at Highfield Hall and Gardens in Falmouth on Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 5:30 – 8:00 PM. Funds raised at this special event will support greater access to the arts through Cape Symphony programming, particularly at its Falmouth campus.
“A September Serenade” will feature classical performances led by Jae Cosmos Lee, Concertmaster of the Cape Symphony Orchestra. Cape Symphony Presents artists The Albino Mbie Quartet will perform world jazz.
The event will include an open bar and substantial appetizers provided by Pink Door Catering. A silent auction featuring a wide selection of items donated by local businesses will raise funds to support Cape Symphony arts education programs and special events.
Cape Symphony’s Falmouth campus is home to music classes for children and adults, and private instruction in all major instruments and voice. Piano Explorers classes are especially popular, as are drum, guitar, and voice lessons. Cape Symphony Presents – an eclectic showcase of world-class music that transcends genres, shares stories, and brings people together – brings frequent live performances to the Falmouth campus, giving local audiences the opportunity to see outstanding artists in an intimate venue close to home.
“Arts programming at Cape Symphony’s Falmouth campus fills a strong need on the Upper Cape, and we’re grateful for your support,” says Executive Director Michael Albaugh. “‘A September Serenade’ will be an evening with friends, artists, and community leaders in a beautiful setting. We hope you’ll join us as we raise money to support our growing variety of programs serving the Falmouth community.”
Tickets to “A September Serenade” are $125.00, on sale now at https://capesymphony.ejoinme.org/tickets.
Highfield Hall and Gardens is located at 56 Highfield Drive, Falmouth, MA. To sponsor the event or donate an auction item, please visit Cape Symphony’s “A September Serenade” website or email Engagement Manager
