Brace yourself for a night of unbridled energy as the Revolutionary Snake Ensemble (RSE) storms the stage! Inspired by the vibrant traditions of New Orleans brass bands, this one-of-a-kind group—led by saxophonist Ken Field—serves up a joyous fusion of street beats, jazz, funk, and free-spirited improvisation.
With their colorful costumes and infectious sound, every RSE performance is a dazzling celebration for both the eyes and the ears!
Why you don’t want to miss this:
- World-class lineup of top creative musicians on sax, trombone, trumpet, bass, and drums.
- A bold, celebratory sound that’s rocked stages from Mardi Gras in New Orleans to the Kennedy Center, Brooklyn Academy of Music, and even Sesame Street.
- Connections to legends—band members and guest soloists have collaborated with Trombone Shorty, Charles Neville, G Love, Anthony Braxton, Aimee Mann, and more.
- RSE albums have been named to best-of-year lists by tastemakers at WNYC and the Village Voice.
Every show is a party in motion, full of surprises, explosive solos, and grooves guaranteed to get you moving.
