Piano, Voice

Angela Poirier is a music educator with 35 years of teaching experience with students of all ages. Her experience includes 18 years in the Worcester Public Schools elementary and secondary vocal and instrumental programs, including director of the award-winning South High a cappella group, “Harmonies.” She studied voice under Malama Robbins, founder of the Salisbury Singers of Worcester, and piano with concert pianist, New Selgado while at Catholic University.

Angela's teaching career began as a private piano teacher and a Pre-K/K Orff Schulwerk teacher to young students. Angela believes that all students can learn to sing and play well given the right opportunity and direction, and will become lifelong learners and supporters of the arts.
