A native of Cape Cod, MA, Noah joins the faculty of the Cape Symphony for the 2023-2024 season. He began studying cello at the age of 12, and shortly after he joined the Cape Youth Symphony Orchestra.
Noah attended the New England Conservatory Preparatory School, and spent his summers at the Meadowmount School of Music, Bowdoin International Music Festival, and Orford Musique. He’s had the privilege of working with teachers such as Julia Lichten, Hans Jørgen Jensen, Natasha Brofsky, and Laurence Lesser.
Noah received his bachelor’s degree from the Eastman School of Music studying with Steven Doane and Rosemary Elliott, and received the Certificate of Achievement in Chamber Music. At Eastman, he was the cellist of the Kilbourn Quartet with whom he performed throughout upstate New York with. His chamber music coaches have included Yoojin Jang, Mimi Hwang, and members of the Ying Quartet. Noah is the recipient of the Celentano Award for excellence in chamber music at Eastman.
