Jenn is originally from Peekskill NY, but is extremely happy to call herself a Cape Cod “wash ashore.” She received her BA in Clarinet Performance from the State University of NY at Purchase.
Jenn joined the US Air Force in 1995, and served her country as an Airman musician for over 20 years. While in the service, Jenn had the extraordinary and unique opportunity to perform all over the world – from the US to over 30 European countries. She performed in various ensembles such as the Concert Band, Ceremonial Band, Clarinet Quartet, and Country Band, and was a soloist – not only on clarinet, but also as a vocalist.
Jenn retired from the Air Force in 2015, and took on a very challenging project – raising two puppies at the same time! She also went back to school and received her Master of Music in Clarinet Performance from Boston University in May 2017.
Jenn has been with the Cape Symphony since October 2016 and is currently the Personnel Manager, working with the musicians of the orchestra. She recently began a third “dream job”: dog-walking and pet-sitting.
Jenn can be found walking her dogs (or someone else’s!), swimming in the beautiful Cape Cod ocean, or tooling around the Cape on her “superior blue” 2017 Harley Davidson Street Glide Special!
See Jenn in the Cape Symphony's Holiday on the Cape, December 6, 7 and 8, 2019.
