Beloved Chatham Chorale Sings with the Symphony
The Chatham Chorale’s slogan is “Singing for Cape Cod since 1971,” and they’ve become a beloved institution in that time. Under the direction of Joseph “Joe” Marchio, they continue the tradition of presenting the finest selection of choral music on the Cape, and the tradition of performing at Cape Symphony’s Holiday on the Cape.
Neil McGarry Returns to the Local Stage
Hyannis native and Barnstable High graduate Neil McGarry has been a professional actor for over 35 years with performances in theatre, film, television and radio. On December 1st, 2nd and 3rd, he’ll return to the stage at the Barnstable Performing Arts Center for Holiday on the Cape.
A Washashore Cowgirl Joins Holiday on the Cape
Cape Cod locals call someone who moves here a Washashore. In Texas, a young girl barrel-raced on Pleasant Valley Ranch and had never seen the ocean. So when Monica Rizzio crossed over the iconic bridges of Cape Cod in 2004, she instantly became the Washashore Cowgirl.
Jung-Ho Pak Gives Keynote Speech at the Creative Exchange
At the recent 2017 Creative Exchange, presented by the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod, Jung-Ho Pak of the Cape Symphony delivered a keynote speech that moved and inspired attendees. One commented, “I took away a feeling of hope and renewed commitment to supporting the arts!”
