Audition to Perform with the Cape Symphony

HYANNIS, MA—July 12, 2018

Auditions for the Cape Symphony and Cotuit Center for the Arts production of The Wizard of Oz in Concert will be held July 21 at 9:00 AM, July 22 at 12:00 PM, and July 23 at 4:00 PM.

Applicants should be ages 6 and up to fill the roles of Munchkins, Winkies, and Ozians. The performance will be staged in a concert format with emphasis on singing and minimal movement required

Callbacks will be July 28 at 9:00 AM, July 29 at 12:00 PM, and July 30 at 4:00 PM. The production culminates in three performances at the Barnstable Performing Arts Center on Saturday, February 9 at 3:00 PM and 7:30 PM and Sunday, February 10 at 3:00 PM.

The auditions will be held at the Cotuit Center for the Arts located at 4404 Falmouth Road (Route 28), in Cotuit, MA. Phone number for information is 508.428.0669. All who audition will be asked to sing a number chosen by the musical director. Be prepared to learn a piece of choreography. Please wear/bring appropriate shoes.
