Music, culture, and connection invigorate the Cape scene for locals and visitors
Cape Symphony Presents (CSP) will bring live performances to Cape Cod throughout Summer 2025. A concert-promoting arm of Cape Symphony, CSP showcases world-class music of all kinds, connecting artists, audiences, and businesses. The program is at the heart of the resurgence of Cape Cod’s live music scene.
CSP’s free Summer Jazz series at Devil’s Purse Brewing Co. (120 Great Western Road, South Dennis) begins June 27 with Joe Mongelli, Scott Avidon & The Cape Jazz Crew. The series features different artists Fridays from 5:00 – 8:00 PM through August 29 (except July 4). Red River BBQ’s food truck will be on site each week. All are welcome at these free, family-friendly events.
CSP and Narrowland Music will bring global artists to Cape Cod in the Secret Planet series, beginning with Duo Andalus at Wellfleet Preservation Hall (335 Main Street, Wellfleet), July 5 at 7:00 PM. The duo is Moroccan-Jewish vocalist LALA Tamar and oud virtuoso Ofer Ronen. From Sephardic to Flamenco, Arabic to Ladino, their music bridges Mediterranean and North African cultures.
Yeison Landero, globally acclaimed grandson of “King of Cumbia” Andrés Landero, will perform Colombian cumbia at the Orleans-Eastham Elks Lodge (10 McKoy Road, Eastham) on July 24. Outermost Batería, Cape Cod’s high-energy Brazilian percussion ensemble, will open at 6:00 PM. Bring a lawn chair for this outdoor, family-friendly performance, and come ready to dance. Food will be available from the Elks grill.
Secret Planet returns to Wellfleet Preservation Hall with Soundscape on July 31 at 7:00 PM. Santoor virtuoso Kunal Gunjal and tabla master Amit Kavthekar will perform Indian classical and folk music, fusing tradition and innovation to please seasoned listeners and curious newcomers alike.
Tickets to each of the Secret Planet Cape Cod events are $35, available through Eventbrite.
CSP and MVYRADIO welcome Kyshona to Cape Symphony’s Falmouth campus August 14 at 7:00 PM as part of her LEGACY album tour. Kyshona blends folk, rock, and R&B to create music that speaks to the human experience, offering solace, empowerment, and truth. Tickets are $30, available through Eventbrite.
