Financial Advisor and Business Leader tapped as newest members of Organization Board
HYANNIS, MA—August 15, 2018
The Cape Symphony & Conservatory has named two new members of the board of trustees for the 2018/19 season with Falmouth resident Douglas MacDonald continuing to serve as Board Chair.
Ellen A. Dickinson of South Orleans will remain Vice Chair. Kimberly K. Williams of Centerville will serve as Treasurer and Jacqueline DeRuyter is now Secretary of the 20-member board.
New members to the Cape Symphony & Conservatory Board are:
Steven W. Heslinga, Centerville (pictured)
Heslinga graduated in 2008 from Wake Forest University in North Carolina with dual degrees in economics and German. During his education he spent time abroad studying international relations at Humboldt University in Berlin. After graduation, he worked as an investment banker and bond trader for Wells Fargo Securities in North Carolina. Heslinga moved to Cape Cod in 2014 and is currently a Partner & Vice President at Heslinga & Tate Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors in Hyannis. He heads the Membership Committee at the Hyannis Rotary Club and is a board member of Flower Angels USA.
Elizabeth C. Nill, Barnstable
Nill is a Senior Executive with extensive background in managing complex organization ranging from Harvard University where she received her MBA and worked as Assistant Dean and Director of External Relations to Chief Operating Officer of The Philanthropic Initiative in Boston and Managing Director of Cambridge Leadership Associates in New York City. Following her retirement, Nill became a Reference Specialist with Isaacson, Miller Executive Search in Boston. She has been a member of a variety of non-profit and educational boards including the University of Lowell, where she was Vice Chair, the Association for the Preservation of Cape Cod and the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education.

The Cape Symphony & Conservatory Board of Trustees contributes to the good health of the Cape Symphony & Conservatory via policy setting, fundraising, strategic planning and financial management. Board members are active advocates for the Cape Symphony & Conservatory in the community, helping to bring awareness to the joint mission of Inspiring Joy Through the Arts.
