Public health restrictions prohibit performance
HYANNIS, MA—December 3, 2020
The Cape Symphony must postpone the “Simple Gifts” livestreamed concert planned for Saturday, December 12th.
The Town of Barnstable remains in the state’s “red zone,” at highest risk for the spread of COVID-19, for the third week in a row. As of Monday, December 7th, the Town will revert to Step 1 of Phase 3 of the state’s reopening plan. The restrictions in Step 1 prevent woodwind instruments from being played indoors.
The Cape Symphony will present this event at a later date when public health conditions improve.
