Virtual learning opportunities available for music lovers of all ages

The Cape Symphony & Conservatory is taking measures to reduce expenses in light of the lost revenue caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. These cost-savings solutions include furloughing staff, who are eligible for unemployment compensation, and reducing salaries for working staff.

Barnstable Performing Arts Center closed through June

HYANNIS, MA—April 30, 2020

With Governor Charlie Baker’s decision to close Massachusetts schools through the end of June, the Cape Symphony is unable to perform at the Barnstable Performing Arts Center. As a result, the Cape Symphony has decided to postpone the Sinatra! concert originally planned for June 13 and 14, 2020. The concert has been rescheduled for August 22 and 23, 2020.
