HYANNIS, MA—April 5, 2023

The Barnstable Performing Arts Center will be filled with some of the 20th century’s greatest songs on April 22 and 23, 2023 as the Cape Symphony pays tribute to Aretha Franklin. Joined by three talented vocalists and led by Artistic Director & Conductor Jung-Ho Pak, the orchestra will perform the music of this iconic force, including “(You Make Me Feel Like A) Natural Woman” and “Chain of Fools.”

July Concert Features Composer John Williams’ Complete Score from Star Wars: A New Hope Performed Live to Picture by the Cape Symphony

The Cape Symphony will present Star Wars: A New Hope In Concert featuring screenings of the complete film with Oscar®-winning composer John Williams’ musical score performed live to the film. The concert will be led by acclaimed Cape Symphony Artistic Director & Conductor Jung-Ho Pak on July 29 & 30, 2023 at the Barnstable Performing Arts Center. Tickets go on sale at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.

April concert features Australian composers and world-renowned didgeridoo musician

Audiences at Cape Symphony’s Passport Down Under concerts on April 1 and 2, 2023, conducted by Australian Carolyn Watson, will go on a provocative musical journey that includes rarely performed symphonic music from Australian composers and Aboriginal music created by the world's pre-eminent didgeridoo musician, William Barton.
