Heather D’Ambra brings both experience and excitement to Cape Symphony Preschool, having worked in Early Childhood education since 2012. While studying at Bridgewater State College to become an Early Childhood teacher, she was a Group Leader for the summer camp/after school program at Cape Cod Child Development in West Yarmouth. The program served children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. She continued with Cape Cod Child Development as an Assistant Preschool Teacher in their preschool program for a few years while continuing her studies at Cape Cod Community College. On completing her degree, Heather accepted a full time position teaching preschool in the classroom in which she’d been an Assistant Teacher. She worked at Cape Cod Child Development for 8 years, followed by 4 years as a Preschool/Pre-K Lead Teacher at Little Stars Learning Center. Heather is excited to be part of the Cape Symphony Preschool faculty and to get to know all the children and their families.
Heather has lived on Cape Cod since her own preschool days. She now lives in in West Yarmouth with her boyfriend John and their two King Charles Cavalier dogs, Lilly and Rosie.
