A graduate of the New England Conservatory, Loren has an extensive and diverse violin career. His performances include a national tour with the Canadian fiddle group Barrage, a featured soloist appearance at Seiji Ozawa Hall in Tanglewood, and collaborations with the Newburyport Choral Society and Outer Cape Chorale. He has also given a solo concert at PAAM and regularly participates in the East End Music and Red Door Chamber Series.
Originally from Portland, Oregon, Loren began his violin studies with the late Raphael Spiro before continuing under former Boston Symphony member Marylou Speaker Churchill. He later completed his graduate studies at the New England Conservatory of Music and receives coaching from Peter Zazofsky and Bonnie Bewick.
