HYANNIS, MA—April 30, 2020
With Governor Charlie Baker’s decision to close Massachusetts schools through the end of June, the Cape Symphony is unable to perform at the Barnstable Performing Arts Center. As a result, the Cape Symphony has decided to postpone the Sinatra! concert originally planned for June 13 and 14, 2020. The concert has been rescheduled for August 22 and 23, 2020.

In a measure of continued safety, the Cape Symphony has canceled its May 2 & 3 performances of Visions: Mozart and Mahler as the Barnstable Performing Arts Center remains closed amid health and safety concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.

As announced last week, the “Perfectly Paired” concert originally scheduled for Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5 will not take place. The Cape Symphony is pleased to announce that the concert is rescheduled to Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11, 2021.

Every day has presented new information, and out of the utmost caution for the well-being of Cape Symphony customers, staff, musicians, and volunteers, the decision has been made to postpone the Perfectly Paired concert originally scheduled for Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5.
