Join Cape Symphony Presents for Thursday Night Chapters - a free, weekly summer residency at the historic Chapter House in Yarmouth Port.

Running from May 21 through September 3, this concert series transforms Thursday evenings into a vibrant celebration of live music, community, and Cape Cod culture. Set at one of the Cape’s most unique and intimate venues, Thursday Night Chapters invites you to unwind, connect, and experience incredible performances under the stars.

Each week features a rotating lineup of standout local and regional artists spanning folk, jazz, soul, and beyond. Whether you're discovering a new favorite artist or returning for a familiar sound, no two nights are the same.

Arrive early, grab a drink, and settle in. Chapter House offers a thoughtfully curated bar and a delicious food menu, making it easy to turn your night into a full evening out. Enjoy cocktails, local beers, and bites while taking in the music. The outdoor setting features cozy fire pits and yard games, with a laid-back, social atmosphere that’s perfect for groups, families, or a casual night out. Cape Symphony Presents launches Freebird Patio Sessions, a brand-new live music residency at Freebird Motor Lodge as part of Summer Sessions on 28—a seasonal series celebrating music, hospitality, and community across Cape Cod.

Inspired by Freebird’s retro Americana aesthetic, rock-and-roll spirit, and laid-back poolside energy, the series transforms summer afternoons into live music experiences designed to bring together locals, travelers, artists, and the broader Cape creative community. Blending singer-songwriters, indie artists, DJs, soul-infused performers, and eclectic regional talent, Freebird Patio Sessions creates an atmosphere that feels both spontaneous and intentional—equal parts listening lounge, summer hang, and cultural gathering place.

Set against the backdrop of one of Cape Cod’s most distinctive boutique hospitality destinations, each performance invites guests to slow down, discover new artists, and experience the creative pulse of the Cape in a fresh and welcoming way.

Amidst the tropical oasis that is Aplaya, The Hot Tamale Brass Band will take you on a musical excursion through New Orleans jazz, festive Mardi Gras, funky second line parades, New Orleans jazz funeral traditions, and more! Performing all over Boston since the 90s, The Hot Tamales will have you up and dancing. The band frequently performs at Boston Red Sox pre-game shows, local clubs, parades, parties, or anywhere that you can fit a tuba. 

While vibing along to the brass band, enjoy a cocktail or snack from Aplaya’s mouthwatering menu of Filipino dishes. In Tagalog, a major language of the Philippines, Aplaya means “beach” or “coast.” Aplaya Kitchen + Tiki Bar offers a vibrant and delicious Filipino menu with amazing tiki cocktails in an outdoor setting, right in downtown Chatham.

Slashing strings, pulsing rhythms, and stark silences heighten every frame as music drives the tension in this classic thriller! Music Director Alyssa Wang will conduct.

Duo Andalus brings Arabic, Hebrew, and Spanish songs from the Mediterranean to North Africa to Wellfleet Preservation Hall.

Vocalist Lala Tamar makes her Cape Cod debut alongside flamenco guitarist and oud virtuoso Ofer Ronen in an encounter between voice and strings, cultures and sounds.

Performing as Duo Andalus, the two carry traditional and original songs sung in Arabic, Hebrew, and Spanish. Tamar, born to Moroccan-Brazilian Jewish parents, is a singer, poet, and guimbri player whose credits include a Lincoln Center debut and the first contemporary album recorded in Haquetia. Ronen is a musicologist and a leading interpreter of flamenco and Middle Eastern music.

Together they honor the roots of three cultures as one, in this exceptional, family-friendly concert.
