Cape Symphony Presents is proud to bring Glass Artists to this year’s Provincetown Dance Festival — a captivating collaboration of live music and dance taking place August 22 & 23 on the stunning outdoor stage at Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill. Tickets are only sold through the event organizer's website.

In this exclusive engagement, Glass Artists — a dynamic string quartet affiliated with Cape Symphony — will perform live on stage, accompanying dancers from Boston Ballet, Ballet Rhode Island, and Boston Dance Theater. The ensemble will debut two brand-new works created especially for the festival, set to a stirring Bach cello suite and an excerpt from Beethoven’s String Quartet No. 16 in F Major.

This marks Cape Symphony Presents’ inaugural collaboration with the Provincetown Dance Festival and underscores our commitment to championing bold, cross-disciplinary performances. We are honored to share the stage with an extraordinary lineup that includes:

  • The internationally acclaimed Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo
  • Classical Indian virtuoso Damir Tasmagambetov
  • Hip-hop artists Kelvin Fabian and Sokeo Ros
  • Contemporary choreographer Madison Palffy and her Northampton-based trio

Artistic Director Adam Miller calls this season “one of the most diverse and exciting lineups in the festival’s history,” and we’re thrilled to be part of it.

Join us in Truro for two unforgettable nights where live music and dance come together under the stars.

Tickets are only sold through the event organizer's website. Please CLICK HERE for tickets.

About Glass Artists

Glass_Artists.jpeg

Glass Artists was founded by Nikki Naghavi, a professional violinist and entrepreneur with extensive experience as a touring classical musician. Through her global performances, Nikki witnessed a recurring challenge: exceptionally talented, highly trained musicians, especially recent graduates from top conservatories, struggled to find consistent, meaningful work despite their dedication and skill.

This realization hit close to home. Nikki saw many of her peers from music school, young musicians with remarkable talent and passion, grappling with the harsh reality of balancing their art with financial stability. These artists, much like Nikki herself, had dedicated years to mastering their craft, only to find themselves juggling unrelated jobs to make ends meet.

Motivated to change this narrative, Nikki founded Glass Artists to create opportunities where young musicians could not only perform regularly at high-profile events and prestigious venues but also earn fair wages that truly reflect their talent and dedication. The goal was to help these artists thrive professionally without sacrificing their passion for music.

More than just a music service, Glass Artists is a platform that bridges the gap between young, highly skilled musicians and communities that value artistry and live performance. It’s a place where emerging talent is celebrated, supported, and given the chance to build sustainable, fulfilling careers.
