Duo Andalus brings Arabic, Hebrew, and Spanish songs from the Mediterranean to North Africa to Wellfleet Preservation Hall.

Vocalist Lala Tamar makes her Cape Cod debut alongside flamenco guitarist and oud virtuoso Ofer Ronen in an encounter between voice and strings, cultures and sounds.

Performing as Duo Andalus, the two carry traditional and original songs sung in Arabic, Hebrew, and Spanish. Tamar, born to Moroccan-Brazilian Jewish parents, is a singer, poet, and guimbri player whose credits include a Lincoln Center debut and the first contemporary album recorded in Haquetia. Ronen is a musicologist and a leading interpreter of flamenco and Middle Eastern music.

Together they honor the roots of three cultures as one, in this exceptional, family-friendly concert.
