Cape Symphony's 2017/18 season theme is Dare to Dream.

“Dare to Dream” at the Cape Symphony in Season 2017/18

Tickets for upcoming season go on sale July 5

HYANNIS, MA—June 28, 2017

Dare to Dream of musical adventures. Dare to Dream of faraway lands. Dare to Dream of extraordinary experiences. Cape Symphony is dreaming up an imaginative, exploratory adventure for the 2017-18 season.

“The theme is a reflection of how, here on Cape Cod, we are truly living the dream,” said Artistic Director and Conductor Jung-Ho Pak. “We hear over and over again how the concert experience profoundly impacts our audiences, and how excited they are that Cape Symphony provides this level of excellence right here in our community. We enjoy making dreams a reality, and we wanted to reflect that sense of possibility in this year’s theme.”

Cape Symphony fans have come to expect amazing experiences, top-name talent and gorgeous music, and this season will deliver some fan favorites, including a “part two” of Opera’s Greatest Moments (a huge hit back in November 2014), the return of the “Unforgettable” John Pizzarrelli, and a trip to Scandinavia for our popular Passport series.

“We have so many inspiring performances this season; it’s really hard to pick one thing to highlight! From 2017 GRAMMY-award-winning Cellist Zuill Bailey and Norwegian piano virtuoso Knut Erik Jensen to local talents like Siren Mayhew, Kate McGarry, and Monica Rizzio, it’s going to be one memorable experience after another,” said Pak.
